Translator's note: again, ridiculously hard to translate because ruki uses a lot of metaphors in this one. if it doesn’t make any sense to you, don’t worry. it doesn’t make any sense in japanese either.
but i can tell you that it’s about how the music industry is slowly changing and how ruki doesn’t know how to feel about it. the physical copies of cd’s are getting less important since you can just download everything. sure it’s easier to make your record sell that way, but to ruki the artwork etc is also important. just try to read it as his own inner conflict about money vs. creativity.
