After making their comeback for the first time in a year, SM Entertainment girl group f(x) has also garnered some criticism regarding their music video for the single "Red Light."

On July 2, f(x) uploaded the music video for their comeback single "Red Light" on YouTube. So far, it has accrued nearly 4 million views on YouTube. However, some comments regarding the visuals have been less than complimentary.

In one of the early scenes in the music video, f(x) member Krystal can be seen holding a large burning book, and some observers have accused the group of Bible burning because of it.

"How dare you burn the Bible with pride," commented KellyKosmetic on YouTube. "Watch all of you burn in hell for eternity! Devil worshippers!"

Despite some very strong reactions, others believe it is not the Bible, but a phone book being held in Krystal's hands.

"How do know that is the Bible?" asked Cyrille Ho on July 4. "It is a phone book. Did you see there is a telephone that is ringing in the beginning of the video?"

"Okay, the book that is burning on the music video teaser isn't the Bible so stop spreading that f(x) is Illuminati," tweeted Vince on July 1 on Twitter.

In addition, "Red Light" has also been likened to the style of SM Entertainment's rival record label, YG Entertainment.

"Very YG style, in my opinion," wrote Roberta Lynn.

"Don't be offended f(x) fans," said Bhella Park. "I like the song but the video reminds me of 2NE1's 'Come Back Home,' especially the solo shots with the light effects."

Some f(x) fans have not taken kindly to the comparison.

"Some YG fans are really getting on my nerves," tweeted ih8krisoopar. "Can you stop bothering f(x) and their fans?"
